Kilning takes place at a lower temp. (85 - 90deg C) but it is continued for longer to obtain the correct colour.

Brewers of Belgian ales should always use this malt for authenticity.

Maximum Percentage - 100% E.B.C. - 7

British Pale Malt is kilned very dry at temperatures between 95 - 105deg.C.
